Become an AANViS Member

The purpose of the Alberta Acoustics, Noise & Vibration Society is to provide Members with a collaborative forum to discuss and promote information and practical solutions concerning acoustics, noise and vibration measurement, regulations, abatement, and public perception of the same within Alberta. To achieve success, members should

• Alignment & Strategic Priorities - identify opportunities and recommend initiatives to promote acoustical and vibration awareness.
• Effective Delivery of Work - seek ways to increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of delivering acoustical and vibration awareness across the province and with industry; identify ways to improve processes, build membership, promote student engagement and develop creative strategies to help achieve AANViS’ goals & outcomes.
• Communication - achieve agreement and/or consensus on specific initiatives; provide advice and guidance to each other; share knowledge and exchange information; support other Groups/Industry in the acoustical and vibration field through education.

Anyone with a professional interest with acoustics, noise or vibration may become an AANViS member.  

Members will get an online newsletter three times a year and a discounted member rate for conferences. Newsletters will include a board report and local/Alberta noise news and a follow up on what has happened.

Membership fee is $20 annually.
